It’s hard to pass the opportunity to venture into Bohemian Fremantle on any given day however when the chance presents itself on a glorious sunny Perth’s day & should you be a fan of the Sea, Beer & Pub Food Little Creatures continues to lead the way.

Since Little Creatures Pale Ale burst onto the market in the summer of 2000/2001 the micro turned brewery has gone from strength to strength. It’s growth didn’t limit to word of mouth, it reached the East seaboard of Australia with success in Victoria & Queensland & ultimately was sold off to Lion in June 2012 (owned by Kirin) for a tidy $380 mill.
The venue has expanded from its early days and now offers seating out the back, to the front side, out the front, out the rear, there really is a lot of room to pack the punters in past the interior Dining Hall & boy, don’t they need to! It’s hard not to go and enjoy some pub food on a sunny day sipping down fresh beer brewed in house & not feel a sense of utter relaxation.
Table service is the order here with staff attentively yet casually taking your food and drink orders & bringing them direct to you so you don’t have to move. Out the back is terrific, for all the Sea lovers the calm peace the water brings mixed in with sun, beer & food makes for a quintessential Western Australian experience. Got kids? No problem. They have a shaded clean sand play pit complete with toys where you can keep an eye on your little ones while you sip back wine, cider or beer.
The hardest thing about the stay is the leaving part.
