Vin & Oli Wine Bar Fremantle
Vin & Oli wine bar & cafe in Fremantle opened on January 1 2015 and is a new stylish addition to the cafe strip / South Tce in Freo. Situated adjacent to the arcade leading into South Terrace Piazza Shopping Centre it offers a European inspired menu with a 100 bottle strong wine list described as “solid” by renowned local Wine Blogger, ‘Perth Wine Enthusiast’.

Vin & Oli is owned and managed by Linda Beamish, who runs a friendly, casual and classy wine bar. From pouring long black coffees to bottles of orange wine, Vin & Oli offers a menu cooked up by a passionate Chef where the ethos is forged around supporting local produce businesses and suppliers.
We went down after a Sunday lunch at Zapfhall, the new German themed pub just a few doors down. Vin & Oli breathes some new life into the wine connoisseur’s options available in Freo. Prosseco is served by the glass at $10 and all drinks are of a high standard – it is clear a lot of serious thought and effort went into building the wine list. Interesting that there are a variety of Orange wines available, until now what we have seen is that is predominately popular among hipsters and sommeliers and is now making its moved into the Western Australia market with Vin & Oli one of leaders making it more accessible to the general public. Although an acquired taste, it is great to see even further diversity in wine.
With continental style tapas and finger food to supplement your choice of 100 wines and two beers (Tiger & Holgate Road Trip) on tap, drop in to Vin & Oli if you are looking for a relaxing and sophisticated choice for the food & drinks lovers among us.
